Times In The Bible And Seasons In The Bible Explained

Times in the bible and seasons in the bible are very important if we want to have the original understanding about how to worship YHWH.

This is highlighted in the prophecies of Daniel, which give us a history of all the major empires that ruled and that rule TODAY and what they would do.

If you look at the scripture below Daniel describes one of the key characteristics that the last ruling kingdom would possess

Daniel 7:25

25And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws:

As you see the last kingdom to rule would “think to change times and laws”, this lets us know that, if we are living in a kingdom that has changed the times, we can be sure it is not the of heaven which shall manifest its self at the end of all the prophecies fulfillment.

This also plainly lets the true believer know that the Kingdom of heaven will be set up on earth and not in heaven! This can be seen the following verse 27

Daniel 7:27

27And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

As its says the “and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom”. This is good news to the rue believers.

BIBLE TIMELINE CHART AND CALCULATION <====

To get an overview of the kingdoms that Daniel prophesied about, we are currently in the last one which is an offspring of the the Roman empire.

The book of Daniel was written approximately 500 years before the Messiah came, Just after the Babylonian which is the First beast from the four Daniel speaks of.

If we look into history we will find that the seasons in the bible and the times in the bible have been changed today and this started at the rise of the last beast that Daniels speaks of which is the Roman Empire.

The History of the Julian Calendar

The history books tell us that in around 45BC Julius Caesar who was a Roman general was actually responsible for creating what is called the Julian calendar.

The Calendar that was established as far back as 45 B.C was made up of 3 years that consisted of 356 days and then a year that was 366 days, which was called the leap year. It was a twelve month Calendar.

It is interesting to note that this calendar started in March, which was considered the first month if the year. Incidently this is the beginning of spring which is the time that YHWH ordained the first month of the year, given to Israel (and all true believers). This also explains why September, October, November and December are out of sequence, as they mean 7, 8, 9 and 10.

After this change made by the Roman Empire there are also other notable changes to the calendar….

The History of the Gregorian Calendar

It was said that the Julian Calendar was not as accurate as it shoud be, this was even the reasoning from chuch officials? which is strange considering the calendar closely resembled that of the one YHWH intended for His people Israel and all the true believers.

It was actually in 1582 that Pope Gregory XIII (1502–85), was responsible for the creation of what is now called the Gregorian Calendar. Ironically the first places to adopt this Calendar were Roman catholic countries.

Extra things to know about the Gregorian calendar and its introduction

When this calendar was adopted in 1582 ten days were taken from it in October, so it jumped from 4 October 1582 to 15 October 1582.

Scotland adopted the Gregorian calendar in the 1600′s

Other colonies notably the English and American didn’t start using the calendar until 1752 and when they did they also had to adjust it so that it would run properly. In 1751 the calendar started on the 25th of March then ended on the 31st of December. Then January became the first month of the year in 1752 and in September 11 days between the 2nd and 14, were taken from the calendar to align it.

Russia and Alaska didn’t start using the calendar until 1867

Seeing as the Romans were also Roman Catholic this further fulfills the prophecy in Daniel 7:25 and the chaning of times and laws. One of the reasons for the change is that the Catholic institution claimed the old calendar didn’t properly account for the holidays.

This is untrue because the Hebrew holidays were accounted for more with the Julian Calendar. The holidays they are obviously referring to being Christmas, Easter, Valentines day, and the various other unbiblical days.

This was a direct way of fulfilling what is written in Daniel 7:25, which says “and shall wear out the saints of the most High“.

By making January the first month of the year, this throws off the true start of a year ordained by YHWH by about 3 months, causing those that have not studied, to assume that January is the start of a year, which is Winter and not Spring, the intended start of the year.

Th truth is if we observed months and days using the moon, this would make the reading of time more accurate and, even keep the seasons in their natural order.

We are now in the time of the end and, its is up to us to get an understanding of what YHWH times and in the bible and seasons in the bible really are. We should remember that YHWH’s time has been used for the longest and that the Julian and Gregorian Calendars are new introductions!

Peace and Shalom
