When we think Bible history we are lead to believe that it is a fantasy book, and there is no real history, although the Messiah was real and walked the earth? Some even want to deny that fact.
Here I would like to give you an overview concerning the bible compilation. This is very important, because with out an understanding of what we are are following our faith can become shaky and hard to defend, when temptations come.
As is stated in the book of James
James 1:12
12Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
It is also important that the scriptures tell us where life began, so that we are not taken away by theories the scriptures say:
Galatians 4:26
26But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
So we know the first man Adam was created in Jerusalem.
So let me explain the compilation of the bible, not as the books we have today but as it developed.
It is true that there are no original manuscripts from the past but, all the books of the law and the prophets and what are called the Apocrypha books were compiled by the 2nd century BC, this is basically around 100 BC.
Biblia polygotta (Polyglot Bible). Alcalá de Henares, Spain: Arnaldi Guillelmi de Brocario, 1514–1517. Rare Book and Special Collections Division, from the Library of Congress U.s. This masterpiece of Catholic scholarship was printed between 1514 and 1517 in Alcalá de Henares (“Complutum” in Latin), in Spain but was not issued until the Pope gave his permission in 1522. There are three main columns of text on each page of the Bible—the Latin Vulgate, the original Hebrew, and the Septuagint, which is the Greek translation of the Hebrew.
This transliteration of the original scriptures was done by the Romans who took over Jerusalem and the Israelites. They transliterated the books into the Greek language, which is what they spoke.
During the 3rd century BC the books of the Law i.e.
Genesis
Exodus
Leviticus
Numbers
Deuteronomy
were transliterated by 72 Jewish scholars. This is said to have happen during the reign of Ptolemy Philadelphus (285-247 BC) At Alexandria Egypt.
They later transliterated the other books:

They completed the transliteration by the end of the 2nd century BC. This transliteration is called the Septuagint which means 70, usually written in roman numerals LXX.
Most other copies of the bibles we see to day are a product of the work done taken from the Hebrew scriptures above.
The Roman catholic churches uses a version of the bible called the Vulgate, this was taken from the LXX, by St Jerome in 382 AD.Recent finds concerning the bible
In 1947 the dead sea scrolls were found, they were found near the dead sea hence the name. They were found in a cave, and one of them was later recognized as the book of Isaiah. It is said the scrolls were over 1000 years older than any previous scripts.
When the scroll was compared to the Hebrew version of the Scriptures which was put together by the Masoretes who put together a Hebrew bible between 500 AD and the 10th century, they were found to be almost identical with a few differences.

was put together in the 1st century AD, but 175 manuscripts of the new testaments books have been found preserved in good condition, between the 3rd and 4th centuries.
Since then the events that has encouraged the reading of the bible are the introduction of printing preses, such as German Johannes Gutenberg’s in 1440.
The Hebrew old testament books were printed from the Masorete source above between 1516-17, it was called the Bombergiana and was edited by Felix Pratensis. This came from Daniel Bomberg, who set up a printing house in 1515.
The second edition is the source for all other Hebrew old testament texts printed and used today.
During the renaissance the bible was transliterated into English by Wycliffe (1382), Tyndale (1525) and Coveradale (1535).
It has been reported by the United Bible society in 1988 that the bible has been transliterated in 1,907 languages. A total of 301 languages have complete bibles and 695 languages have the New testaments.
The compilation of the bible is definitely of great importance, there is no doubt that YHWH him self has lead men to transliterate the bible in many different languages as his prophecies point out
Isaiah 28:9-11
9Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to
understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon
line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
Peace and Shalom
