Abortion and the Bible What Does it Say?

Abortion and the bible are not usually closely related, probably because the word abortion is not mention in the bible. But that doesn’t mean abortion and the bible are not related.

To begin with there was resistance to abortion by way of the the opposing pro-life and pro-choice worldwide social movements, but this is unfortunately decreasing as time goes by.

With the increase of the awareness less abortions are taking place, but this is not because people are have less sex, but because they are becoming more skilled in murdering babies at the early stage of conception.

Some interesting stats for you to think about are that every year 70,000 people die from an abortion and 5 million become disabled during the procedure, check out the link below.

Lets see the bible views on abortion, firstly lets see how the Most High views life it’s self, to put things in perspective.

Psalm 127:3

3Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

So the Most High YHWH says that the fruit of the womb is a reward, so that being said the bible is against abortion.

Lets see when a female was deemed to be pregnant for all those that feel that at the point of the womans egg being fertilized a baby has not been conceived.

2 Samuel 11:5

5And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

If we look at this scripture we see that Bathsheba, conceived and sent word to David to tell him that she was with child or pregnant. We are not told the point of conception but we can safely say it is in the womb at the point of fertilization.

See the diagram below for the back to school visual of fertilization

Here is another scripture that lets us see the Most Highs feeling about ejaculation never mind fertilization.

Genesis 38:8-10

8And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother’s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother.

9And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother’s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.

10And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also

Here we see that the Most High is opposed to the wasting of sperm as he kills Onan for spilling his sperm “on the ground” deliberately, so that he would not have to have a child in his brothers name. Although this doesn’t deal directly with the waste of Onan sperm, it still shows that the Most high sees importance in sperm.

If we look in the laws of Leviticus we see further indication of the importance of sperm, as we are told if sperm touches any surface after leaving the penis, this will make that surface unclean until evening. It is also required that the surface be cleaned.

Leviticus 15:16-18

16And if any man’s seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.

17And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.

18The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.

So what can we liken this to today? If you haven’t guessed it, yes! This can be likened to a condom or the more popular term is contraception.

In the case of a condom after sperm leaves the penis and sits in the condom, this will make the user of the condom spiritually unclean and the Most high doesn’t expect us to deliberately make ourselves unclean.

It is clear that the Most High is opposed to any type of contraception, as the pleasure of sexual intercourse is to be enjoyed by a married couple that are willing to bring that reward the Most High has ordained for use to have, into the world.

Abortion and the bible are often never associated with each other, but these scriptures tell us that a baby is a reward. Today so many people see babies as an obstacle, to their jobs or careers and even their circumstances. The truth is we create our circumstances so we are responsible.

Abortion and the bible are closely related elsewhere also if we look at the ten commandments which are at the core of the FAITH we see in Exodus.

Exodus 20:13

13Thou shalt not murder kill.

It is against the Most Highs commands for us to murder babies…

Remember if you intend to enter a relationship and have sex, but have no intention of taking care of a child, using a condom is murder every time you ejaculate or your partner takes the morning after pill.

Lets look at the penalty that was once given for murdering a baby even if it was by accident.

Exodus 21:22-23

22If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman’s husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine.

23And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,

As you can see aborting a baby would have required the life of the person that caused the killing of the baby. We know that Most High knew that man would eventually be living in corrupt times so the Messiah shedding his blood has afforded us grace and mercy if we have committed this sin UNKNOWINGLY!

But after reading this you should be well aware that abortion is MURDER, and is totally unacceptable to YHWH.

If you have aborted in the past confess it to the Most High through his son Yahushua and Repent (turn from this sin of having sex with out officiating a marriage), and stop using condoms and pills and any other types of contraception.

Let us learn to be men and women before experiencing the pleasures…

Yous ahould also find out how to interpret the bible

Peace.
